M.P. Pavilion - Showcase of States Development

Madhya Pradesh Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya today invited the investors to come and invest in the state as the state has conducive atmosphere and has immense potential which can be tapped. He was speaking at the Madhya Pradesh Day celebration at Lal Chowk Theatre, Pragati Maidan. Shri Chetanya Kashyap senior BJP leader from the state, Addl. Chief Secretary, Industry, Shri Satyaprakash and Managing Director of TRIFAC Shri Anil Jain, Special Commissioner Smt. Loveleen Kakkar, Senior officials of Industry Development were present on the occasion. Prizes were also given to Private Companies for their exemplary performance. Shri R.P. Singh Chief General Manager LUN escorted the Industry Minister and explained him about the various aspects of M.P. Pavilion.
Earlier, Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya lit the lamp and took a round of the pavilion and inquired about the various products displayed in the pavilion.
The cultural function titled 'reliving a heritage though the sprit of dance' showed Matki dance of Malwa region and Badhai dance of Bundelkhand regions were performed which enthralled the crowd. Madhya Pradesh Pavilion is a showcase of state's development and story of progress made in social and economic field during last few years. Apart from state development it also shows the state's historical heritage, its natural beauty, forests reserve and mineral resources through panels and artifacts. Along with this, Pavilion also depicts the importance of clean power and the progress made in the field of industrial development and immense potential for investment in state along with the various concession the state is providing for setting up industries. The Pavilion also shows the immense tourist potential of the state. The Pavilion shows Gwalior Fort at the entrance, falls of Pachmari, Sanchi Stupas, Chattries of Orchha, Tigers of Kanha National Park, Khajuraho Temples with a lady performing Khajuraho dance festival, Bhedaghat Falls of Jabalpur with flowing Narmada River. This all promises a memorable outing for tourists. Short films on states development tourism, Handicrafts, Industrial Development and various film on various welfare programme were shown on the big screen at Pavilion.
